The Akuvox E18C is a combined advanced Access Control Unit and SIP Door Intercom device all in one.
Featuring 7" HD colour touchscreen display, the E18C Access Control & SIP Intercom Terminal provides multiple authentication methods, focused on supporting a contactless pathway into the building.
Using the latest deep-learning AI and dual-camera technology, the Akuvox E18C Access Unit allows secure, touch-free verification via face recognition (including mask detection), Bluetooth BLE, RFID and QR Code scanning, supported by the Akuvox SmartPlus smartphone app.

The E18C provides a modern, stylish, contactless and highly secure way to unlock doors or gateways and is ideal for both multi-tenant / multi-dwelling residential apartments, as a well as commercial / shared office environments.
The device's advanced biometric face recognition verification can be further enhanced for touch-free door access with the addition of body temperature detection scanning. Using the optional MD02 thermal scan adapter, the E18 Door Access Unit will scan users' body temperature prior to allowing access, to ensure they are not displaying fever-like symptoms.

Protection Rating:
The Akuvox E18C Access Control Unit has a protection rating of IP65 - suitable for both outdoor and exposed environment applications. (not suitable for outdoor use when combined with MD02 thermal detection module).
