The new Akuvox A05C Access Control Unit is one of the most advanced professional Access devices available.
Featuring 5" HD colour screen the A05C Access Control Reader provides multiple authentication methods, focused on supporting a contactless pathway into the building.
Using the latest deep-learning AI and dual-camera technology, the Akuvox A05C Access Unit allows secure, touch-free verification via face recognition, Bluetooth, RFID or QR Code scanning, supported by the Akuvox SmartPlus smartphone app.

The A05C provides a modern, contactless and highly secure way to unlock doors or gateways and is ideal for both multi-tenant / multi-dwelling residential apartments, as a well as commercial / shared office environments.
The device's advanced biometric face recognition verification can be further enhanced for contactless door access with the addition of body temperature detection scanning. Using the optional MD02 thermal scan adapter, the A05C Door Access Unit will scan users' body temperature prior to allowing access, to ensure they are not displaying fever-like symptoms.

Authentication options:
The Akuvox A05C offers a range of access credential options. Choose to set the device to use face recognition, RFID, bluetooth or QR code scanning for secure identity authentication.
Note that the device can be set to function with 3 of the 4 authentication methods as follows:
Option 1) Face recognition, RFID & Bluetooth
Option 2) QR Code scanning, RFID & Bluetooth
Option 3) Face recognition, QR Code scanning, RFID & Bluetooth.

Protection Rating:
The Akuvox A05C Door Access Unit has a protection rating of IP65 - ensuring it's suitability for outdoor and exposed environment applications (not suitable for outdoor use when combined with MD02 thermal detection module).

This advanced IP Access Reader also supports ONVIF open standard for effective integration with other 3rd party IP systems and devices such as IP CCTV cameras, NVRs, etc.
