Access controllers can be stand-alone or as part of a complete system for a multi-door access control scenario. Users can be added to access control groups, giving them access to a select set of doors in a commercial application, for example. Full reporting and clocking in and out is also a feature for staff time attendance.
Simple stand-alone controllers can provide access to a gate with no calling to an indoor screen like an intercom solution.
There is a crossover with intercom systems as whilst a screen is not usually needed here internally, it can be added with some setups as an option.
